After two solid days of driving, I think that I am ready.  We had a good trip down here though.  Of course the long trip through South Dakota is old hat, but, we discovered a new restaurant in Sioux Falls for lunch. Sanaa's, great food, middle eastern gourmet, Wow.  And Sanna was wonderful to talk to.  Then it was straight south on the Nebraska Iowa line to Missouri and into Kansas City where we spent the night.  Good BBQ and a restful night.  Then through the rain and the rest of Missouri on the way to catfish and hushpuppy heaven at Catfish Hole in Fayettville.  Then just a hop, skip and a jump through the Ozarks into Little Rock and http://sculptureattherivermarket.com.

It has been a busy Spring getting everything ready for the summer shows and gallery season.  

Kara and I will be leaving for Little Rock, Arkansas this coming week for the "Sculpture at the River Market" art show.  It should be a lot of fun.  We are looking forward to the new venue, meeting new people, and getting a chance to see some of our best friends. This promises to be a very good show as there are some VERY big names in sculpture in attendance.

I have also been very busy sculpting.  I just released "Sassafrass" my newest little peep (pictured).  I have been working hard on three other pieces.  I have a goldfinch sitting on a coneflower, just started a few evenings ago that has a lot of promise.  I have also been working on a Grebe with a pair of chicks on it's back.  I love this piece and the research on the grebes was really fun.  Then there is the Snowy Owl.  I have a HUGE amount of hours into this lady. So far more than all the hours in any two of my other pieces combined.  This piece will be spectacular! No holds barred.  I am raising the bar on my work presentation with this lady.  You can find pictures of all of these under Works in Progress.

All of this on top of selling our house so that we can build a place with a real studio and shop.
