Scooter

This is "Scooter", my latest chick or peep. He is modeled from a week old Ringneck Pheasant chick.  These tiny creatures look so delicate and yet are surprisingly tough. They have a curious and bold personality, but are quick as lightning when they need to hide.  I had to work fast sculpting this little guy as I used a live model. The changes in feather structure, features and size are very noticeable from day to day.  He was an enjoyable challenge, love his attitude!
